I hope this website provides you with additional information you might need before beginning counseling. I work with adults and adolescents and have been told I bring a warm, compassionate presence to my work with clients. My primary areas of focus are traumatic grief & loss, treating PTSD, trauma, healing, anxiety and depression, life transitions and career coaching. My approach stems from numerous theories including client centered, psychodynamic and humanistic theories as well as EMDR and restorative retelling therapies.
I completed a Master’s Degree Mental Health Counseling in 2004 at Seattle University in Seattle, Washington. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with the States of Washington and Oregon and a certified EMDR practioner by the EMDR International Association, EMDRIA. In addition, I have a background in human resources with a focus on development, interviewing, hiring, and career counseling. I also provide tele-mental health counseling in certain circumstances to clients within Washington or Oregon states.
Current client openings are typically late morning to early afternoon appointments only.
